MA AVEC GRANIT, Belfort/Montbéliard [FRANCE]

Since November 2017, Le Granit, Scène nationale de Belfort and MA scène nationale - Pays de Montbéliard have come closer under the name MA AVEC GRANIT. They have  now a common program. In France, a national stage [scène nationale] is a place where performing arts works are produced and showed to thje audience. It is as well an important tool for supporting artists (residencies, co-production, etc.). It also aims to promote artistic diversity and accessibility by working in partnership with its surrounding territory and by developing an ambitious audience development program in form of creative workshops.
Since 2012, MA scène nationale - Pays de Montbéliard, Le Granit, Scène nationale de Belfort and the National Choreographic Center of Bourgogne Franche-Comté in Belfort, VIADANSE, have put transmedia at the heart of the artistic research with the creation of a European Center for Artistic Creation called L-EST/European Performing Arts and Transmedia Lab. Its main activities revolve around an annual call for artistic research grants awarded to three artistic teams (French or international) and since 2016, to the organization of a festival, La Rencontre #TransFiction around the theme of transmedia and artistic creation.

Le Granit, Scène nationale de Belfort [MA avec Granit] is the project leader of the Open Access project.
